One of our star altos has announced her desire to switch over to the soprano section which constitutes about half the group, precipitating a mini-controversy about seating arrangements among her peers. My how non-singers (I don't say non-musicians) miss out on the fullness of human experience if they have not experienced something like this. We did all get sorted out and made a fairly good show of things, now that we actually have one tenor back in action again.
