I sang solo on the Alleluia verse, which I found difficult because of the irregular phrasing. "You are Peter, and upon this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it."

Our choir director had a big writeup for her project in the NY Times Science section for 24 June 2003. She is doing postgraduate research on rehabilitation for pianists with a particular type of motor neurological impairment caused by overuse. Things seem to be taking off for her work all of a sudden, which we in the choir get a vicarious kick out of.
