How my mind works
Whenever I hear about Nicolas
Sarkozy, the French
politician often mentioned in the context of the recent riots, I
imagine that his name is a
spoonerism.
But what would a Karpoma be?
I was also disappointed to find out one day
that in French the surname of the
president of Russia
was pronounced (by newsreaders, anyway), with the last syllable
emphasized, not like the
naughty word.
